The bus driver beeped, but the dog would not get out of the way. A policeman blew his whistle, a lady shouted "Shoo! Shoo!", a man and a lady pulled the dog, but the dog would not get out of the way. However, Jason patted the dog. Good dog! Good dog!, then the dog get out of the way. I was very surprised it. I thought Jason is very nice boy and kind. I want to be like Jason!

BR 1-14 Mr. Putter and Tabby Bake the cake (Arthur Howard, 1994)

"But Mr. Putter did not give up. And by nine o'clock in the morning, he had made the most beautiful Christmas cake in the whole world. It was light and airy."
This is the wintertime's story. Mr. Putter loves to give Christmas presents. He had to think of what he could give to his neighbor Mrs. Teaberry. This was hard because she likes strange things. I laugh the scene that she liked coconuts made into monkey heads, salt shakers that walked across the table and little dresses for her teapots.
He didn't know how to bake a cake. He had no pans and  cookbook, so he spent hard time till Christmas day. He bought seven bowls, three sifters, ten spoons, five cups and a Christmas tree pan. He spent a lot of money. Then he tried to bake a cake. However, his first cake fell flat. His second cake wouldn't leave the pan, and his third cake caught on fire. Christmas morning had come. He failed to bake a beautiful cake, but he didn't give up. In the morning, he made the most beautiful Christmas cake.
I moved the scene that Mr. Putter didn't give up and made beautiful cake. I like it. I want to be person like him. In addition, I like strange things too, so I thought I resemble Mrs. Teaberry. I laughed this scene. This book was very moved.

BR1-13 Mr. Putter and Tabby Walk the Dog (Arthur Howard, 1994)

"The fourth day he didn't tug, he didn't wrap, and he didn't chase. He was a dream dog."

This book is very funny. This is dream dog's story. Mrs. Teaberry has a dog, Zeke. However, one day, she slipped and shouldn't walk for a week to rest her foot. She couldn't walk Zeke, so Mr. Putter who is her good friends and neighbor walk Zeke for a week. Mrs. Teaberry was happy, but she was a little worried. She hopes Zeke doesn't tug, wrap and chase.

First day, Zeke was a nightmare. He tugged and tugged and tugged. The second day, he wrapped anything. The third day, he chased various dogs. They thought Zeke is a nightmare. However, the fourth day, Zeke is a good dog. He was smart. The rest day of the week, they enjoyed walk together.

I like the scene that Zeke caused some mischief. I think he is very naughty dog. It was interesting and funny. In addition, Zeke became a good dog. I like the scene too. I think I want to have a dog or cat like them.

BR1-12 Mr. Putter and Tabby Catch the Cold (Arthur Howard, 2002)

"Tabby sat on Mr. Putter's head to keep it warm while he read the funnies. She tried to help him not catch a cold. She did her best."

This book is very heart warming story. Mr. Putter went out without his hat, so he was cold. Then Tabby sat on his head to keep it warm, and she tried to help him not catch a cold. I like this scene the best because I found Tabby is very kind and they are very good friends through this scene.

In addition, I like the scene which Zeke come Mr. Putter's house too. He is Mrs. Teaberry's dog. She is Mr. Putter's good friend and neighbor. She was very worried about his cold. She took Zeke Mr. Putter to look after him. Zeke came Mr. Putter's house with Thermos strapped to his bag. The inside the Thermos is Chicken soup what Mrs. Teaberry made. Then Zeke came his house again. He had pepper tea with honey sticks. He souunded a little funny after he ate it. He felt it was the best cold he ever caught.

I don't like cold, but if there are friends such as Mrs. Teaberry, I want to catch a cold. However, I'm careful when I go out in winter and a snow day.

BR 1-06 When tiny was tiny ( Meister, 1999)

" When tiny was tiny, he was my best friend. He still is."

This book taught me importance best friend. Tiny is very cute. He is not tiny now. He is very big. Thanks to became big, tiny can become to do many things. For example, he could become running fast and doing tricks.
I laugh the scene which some days Tiny thinks he is still tiny. It is very cute and interesting. He thinks so, so main character tries to teach Tiny. He tell Tiny he is not tiny. Tiny is big. Big is good. I also like this scene.
