Essay 2-02a: Satoshi Tsumabuki

There are a lot of movies all over the world. Needless to say, there are a lot of movie actors all over the world too. One of the wonderful actors is Satoshi Tsumabuki. He is wonderful Japanese movie star. He appears not only movies but also TV dramas. Almost all Japanese know about him. Some foreigner know too. He is very famous and popular.

One of the movies that he appears is “Dororo”. The movie’s original is Osamu Tezuka’s comic. This story is about Japanese monster. The movie is about muromachi era. Satoshi Tsumabuki performed the main charactor, Hyakkimaru. He was taken his 48 body parts by monsters, so he is blind and deaf. He got alternative 48 body parts by his father, but they are fake, so he didn’t feel pain. His father is not really father. It is not clear who is his father until the movie’s last. In order to take his taken 48 body parts back, he fight battle with the 48 monsters. If he wins the battle, he gets one of his taken body parts. When the taken body parts come back his body, he feels very big pain, but he wants to get all his body parts, so he fight battles very hard. He is very strong. He got only 24 body parts in this movie. It is half body parts, so it may have second series of this movie.

Satoshi Tsumabuki performed blind and deaf man. In addition, he performed the man who lost 48 body parts. It is very hard to perform such a man. However, he performed this man perfectly. He gets right into Hyakkimaru’s part, so as if he is really blind and deaf. In addition, he seemed really lost hisbody parts. It is very surprising and wonderful.

One of the popular movie that he appears is "Akunin/Villain" in 2010. This movie's original author is Shuichi Yoshida. The main tame of movie is "Who is the actual villain?" The story of this movie is that Yuichi of a murderer who Satoshi Tsumabuki performed escapes from society with a woman. Yuichi wanted to meet the person who he really loves, so he enrolled in online dating Web site. Finally, he met only one woman, Mitsuyo he really loves, but he had terrible secret that he killed a woman before. Yuichi and Mitsuyo decided to escape together without giving himself up to the police. While they ran, they made love stronger, but they were driven into a corner. After their hegira finished in the end, they considered that “who is the actual villain?” By this movie, the audience becomes to think of true love and actual evil.

Satoshi Tsumabuki performed both of actual villain and really good person very well. It was difficult to performed this character, but he could do very well. In addition, he won the Best Actor of Japan Academy Award by this movie in 2011. That is to say, a lot of people admit his ability as wonderful actor.

Like this, he can perform action movie and the person who is murderer, pure and humane. As if he change himself each movies. He can get right into each movie’s parts. In addition, he won a lot of prizes at other movie awards. For example, he won the Rookie of Golden Arrow Award in 2002, the Best Actor of Blue Ribbon Award in 2010, and the Best Supporting Actor of Japan Academy Award in 2014.He won a lot of other Awards. It is very fantastic! He won the prize only Japan yet, but he will be admitted around the world in the future.

Essay 2-01a: My living room is the best place all over the world.

I'm going to write about my favorite place. I can relax in the living room the best, so I like there very much. I grew and experienced a lot of things there, so I have a lot of memories in the living room, so it is the best place.



I spent very long time in the living room. I rarely go my room because I like living room the best in my house. I also like my room, but I like better living room. I chat with my family there. I talk about anything with my family there. For example, I talk about my friends, classes, events, school life, TV program, music and other things with them. Sometimes, I also talk about trouble. I like chatting with them very much. They make me very happy and relaxed.

In addition, I usually eat breakfast and dinner with my family in the living room. I like eating it with them very much. Sometimes, we go out for dinner. It is very fun, but I can relax in the living room better.


My favorite spot in the living room is sofa. I always stay there. When I watch TV, take a nap, chat with my family, eat snacks, and other doing, I stay there. I like sofa because it is very comfortable. Our sofa is not so big, but I can relax there. Our sofa is black, but I want a white sofa because I like better white than sofa. When my sister sleeps on the sofa, I can't sit on it, so I feel that I want to sit on it very much.


I experienced a lot of things in the living room because I live my house for nineteen years. I spent very happy time and sad time and irritation time there. I experienced a lot of events there too. For example, I spent happy christmas day, new years day, vacation and birthday. That is why, I have a lot of memories in the living room. If it were not for the living room, I could not spent happy time.


I moved to Kumamoto city last year, so I can't go back my before house. It is little sad. I like the living room now, but I feel I want to back my before house sometimes because there were a lot of memories there.

Essay 1-02a: Life of the students at KGU

I'm going to write about university life. There are a lot of clubs at KGU. For example, there are the lacrosse, the music, the calligraphy and other clubs. If the students at KGU belong to the flower arrangement club, everyday is fun. If they belong to any clubs, they can have a lot of friends since they belonged to it. It makes their very happy. Usually, flower arrangement club's member hold club activities on Wednesday. They often hold pizza party, takoyaki party, and other parties. In addition, they hold BBQ, video viewing, hide and seek and other activities. These activities are very fun and interesting. They are always looking forward to coming Wednesday. 

Takumasai is also fun. Takumasai is like school festival. If the students at KGU don't belong to clubs, the students at KGU can't take part in Takumasai. Some of club's members serve an executive committee of Takumasai. It is very busy and tired, but they enjoyed it. In addition, they could watch concert for free because they were executive committee of Takumasai. It was very lucky. The concert was very excited and wonderful!

Next, I'm going to write about KGU facilities. The students at KGU often go library to study. There are a lot of books in this library. They sometimes use computers there. There are also a lot of computers there, so it available anytime. In addition, they often watch DVD at AV corner. There are a lot of DVDs there, so they watch DVD there when they are free. KGU library is very useful. Thanks to this library, they can finish my homework, and look into anything.

Then I'm going to write about my university schedule. The almost students at KGU have to wake up early in the morning. They usually get up at 8a.m. It is very hard for their to get up early because they like sleeping very much. They usually spend hard morning, but some of English departments students at KGU get up 12p.m. on every Monday because they have classes from 2: 40p.m. It makes their very happy. In addition, there is speaking class on Monday. Their like speaking class very much because they like speaking English. That's why, they like Monday schedule.
